There were times in my life where I tried to be hard and more assertive. But I try not to do so these days; I think there is a beauty in being soft. I guess that’s what I tried to convey here.
Note that the lyrics also mention some sensitive content related to mental health.

I went to Tate last year to see some art
And bumped into a piece that stirred my heart.
It was simple; just some words on the walls,
One of them went: “It’s easy to be soft.”
Yeah, I mean to be soft.

Of the day that reminds you of the small ways

I wrote this sometime in mid-January, after having cried while watching a movie with some friends - but not because of the movie. I guess that's where the song started.
I also heavily reference Kino, an iconic Soviet rock band that was led by Viktor Tsoi. I hate to explain the lyrics in general, but I decided to do so in this case, as most of you wouldn’t get these nerdy references. The explanations are at the end.
Also, the artwork is based on a Kino album cover too!

Cried a little - it might have been the story, but no,

Recently, I've been feeling quite unhinged—disconnected from everything surrounding me, like a balloon drifting into the sky. I think that was on my mind when I wrote this song.
I wrote and produced this today (well, yesterday by now). Although I thought about taking some time to perfect it, I've decided to share it as it is, to let you in on how I'm feeling at the moment.

This is a short song I wrote and recorded in one day. It’s a bit raw, but I think I like it.
I was feeling quite down recently, and I guess I jotted down what was going on in my mind, in a rap way.

There’s no chirping sound when you’re done killing the birds.
I feel in the guts, it’s written, I cannot mend it,
I cannot bend this street leading to the factory of my tears.
My fears are displayed in the gallery of my mind.
I might want you to call me tonight,
Because I guess I miss you.
I knew it couldn’t continue.
But I was lonely and broken and myself.
I don’t like being myself.
And I know things go wrong in a thousand ways with me.
Flowers wilt in a matter of days with me.
Tried gardening my soul, but it took a spark
For everything to burn, leaving me in this dark.

I wrote this song years ago but never recorded it. I recently came across it in my notes and thought it was cute, so I might try to produce it.
